This is what the side of our house looks like. Two garbage bins and one recycling bin. The following events occurred last week. The names have been changed to protect the guilty.
One of the bins was halfway full. The other was empty.
Well, the empty bin wasn't ENTIRELY empty. It had a nice little puddle of rain water at the bottom (and a couple of buzzing flies).
Ralph was either asked to take a trash bag to the bin or he took it upon himself to actually contribute. Either way, it was, perhaps, the only time in history that he took out the trash and had to figure out on his own where to place it.
He chose to drop it in the otherwise empty bin. Right into the rainwater.
