- Akimbo—I like to imagine that “arms akimbo” doesn’t mean hands on hips, but rather means that someone is frantically waving his or her arms in the air
- Pathological—I like to use this word to mean weird or contradictory behavior

Julie and I just debated the meaning of the word "bemused." Although our interpretations of the word were both incorrect, our facial expressions while saying the word "bemused" were exactly (exactly) the same. Anyway, we were both wrong. And have been for years.
And now we are truly *bemused*
