adamant and upset people get when you tell them they are wrong.

People used to think I was Samoan. Not kidding.
I feel your pain Ms. Hoffman...truly I do...I've heard all of those (minus Croatian), not to mention:
- Hispanic
- Persian (hmmm?)
- Middle eastern (Pakistan, Iraq, take your choice)
- Mulatto (crude, but we have a winner!)
