OK I need to say a couple things. I left Fanfarlo off because I had to keep it to 20 and that one just happened so it is too new. I need to see if I still love it as much as I do now 5 years from now. But Fanfarlo definitely gets some sort of Most Promising Newcomer award.

And I also should mention Dale Watson, July 31, 2004, when he made the whole Broken Spoke sing happy birthday to my brothers. And a whole bunch of our friends were there -- good times.

I feel like I've forgotten something else and I have neglected The New Pornographers and Lucinda Williams and who knows who else but I had to keep it to 20. Oh well.
