- If you list *jeans day* as a perq at your job
- If you use your hand to block a closing elevator door and there are people already on the elevator
- If you like Garfield more than Snoopy
- If you think the movie *Starship Troopers* is "bad" or "stupid", as opposed to "fucking brilliant"
- If you don't listen to the lyrics
- If you tip less than 20% on a regular basis
- If you use the word utilize
- If you don't like the ending of *No Country for Old Men*
And it's OK to be different, I'm just pointing some things out.

It's not that I don't listen to the lyrics. It's that I *can't* listen to the lyrics. I stress this because I know you actually don't think it's ok to be different. And because I don't either.
OH. And regarding the elevator item, clearly we're samesies on that. Or maybe I am worse. The other day I left a meeting with a group of 4-5 people. When the elevator opened and there were already 4-5 people on, and all of my people were trying to make room for me, all I could say was, "No thanks. No, it's ok, thanks. I -- I just can't."
I do not include you as a person who says "I don't listen to the lyrics" in the way that I mean. Although I wonder if as you have gotten older you can hear the lyrics, because I feel like I have gotten better at it.
I also will not get on crowded elevators and it is yet another of the many ways my co-workers think I am "odd." Another one being not waiting in line for food. But that's not a "fundamentally different" type difference.
And really, it is OK to be different. The only real deal-breaker is the *hand in the elevator* one. And Snoopy.
So the other day? I was at the lobby at work and I watched this woman come into the lobby with both of her hands full and stick her foot into the closing elevator doors, which then proceeded to not reopen, but rather stay closed on her foot. And so she fell down and it was very dramatic.
But the whole time all I could really think was, "Why are you in such a rush to get back to work?"
My two favorite things Alana ever saw:
1. The woman who come into the lobby with both of her hands full and stick her foot into the closing elevator doors, which then proceeded to not reopen, but rather stay closed on her foot.
2. The firemen I think it was running through the revolving doors.
Remember the time when Alana told us about the woman who come into the lobby with both of her hands full who stuck her foot into the closing elevator doors, which then proceeded to not reopen, but rather stay closed on her foot? That was funny (TWF).
